Victoria is an accredited social worker who has worked in child and youth mental health for the past 11 years across the community, inpatient and acute settings. Victoria has trained with leading experts in the field of attachment and complex trauma and has worked in this field for many years including working with children and families with child protection involvement as a specialist. Victoria has a strong family-based approach with a focus on strengthening parent-child relationship and parenting capacity with an ongoing special interest in foster and adoptive families.
Victoria enjoys working therapeutically with younger children as well as teens and has excellent skills in engaging young people. Victoria works to support clients individually but in recognising the importance of parent and family relationships, aims to weave both together as part of her framework for intervention.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Social Work, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
Special Interests: Parent- child relationship difficulties, depression, self -injurious behaviours, trauma, attachment based difficulties, family functioning
Treatments: Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT) for depressed adolescents, Systemic Based Intervention, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Play and Expressive Therapy, Accredited Circle of Security Parenting Program Facilitator.

Referral Required: General Practitioner (12 months of indefinite), Psychiatrist or Paediatrician – referrals provide access to treatment within the Medicare Better Access Scheme
